Bernard Pruzak

Bernard G. Prusak holds the Raymond and Eleanor Smiley Chair of Business Ethics at John Carroll University. He was formerly Professor of Philosophy and Director of the McGowan Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. His books include Catholic Moral Philosophy in Practice and Theory: An Introduction (Paulist, 2016); his criticism and other public scholarship appear often in Commonweal.

Jennifer Reed-Bouley is professor and program director of theology at College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, where she has taught courses in Catholic social thought and environmental ethics since 2004. She has led faculty seminars and presented workshops on anti-racist pedagogy, Catholic social thought, and community-based learning. Her research focuses on how Catholic social thought can inform teaching across the curriculum, students’ civic and political engagement, and the operations of Catholic higher education.
